About the Role
A confidential company is seeking a Senior Payables Accountant with 7-9 years of experience to review and process supplier invoices, prepare payment runs, reconcile vendor statements, and assist in month-end closing.

- Review, verify, and process supplier invoices in a timely manner
- Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes
- Prepare and process payment runs (cheques, bank transfers, etc.)
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies
- Assist in month end closing and reporting activities
- Coordinate with procurement and other departments for invoice validation
Requirements
- 7 9 years of experience in accounts payable
- Experience in reviewing, verifying, and processing supplier invoices
- Experience in preparing payment runs and reconciling vendor statements
- Knowledge of internal controls and financial policies
- Ability to assist in month end closing and reporting
