About the Role
Emirates Global Aluminium is looking for a Senior Operator for Day Crew in Abu Dhabi. The role involves carrying out day-to-day operations, handling materials and equipment, maintaining logs, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
- Carry out day to day operations as directed by the Day Crew Supervisor
- Handle and transfer material, tools, and equipment to required locations
- Maintain a daily log of all activities and complete checklists
- Participate in team pre start meetings and handover issues
- Report accidents, incidents, and near misses to supervisor
- Comply with housekeeping standards and procedures
- Comply with safety, quality, and environmental policies
Requirements
- 1 2 years of experience in industrial operations
- Ability to handle materials, tools, and equipment safely
- Knowledge of safety and environmental procedures
- Good communication skills for team coordination

Day to Day Operations
- Carries out day to day operations within the respective Operations Centre to ensure that work processes are implemented as directed by the Day Crew Supervisor.
- Receives daily direction from the Day Crew Supervisor on activities to be performed, and ensures work is completed in a timely and safe manner.
- Ensures timely escalation of any issues / problems to the Day Crew Supervisor.
- Maintains a daily log of all activities conducted, and ensures activities are completed as per the daily checklist.
- Handles and transfers material, tools and equipment to the required location ensuring compliance with safety, environment and quality standards.
- Carries out various routine procedures, independently, cooperates with the Production and Maintenance teams.
- Participate in team pre start meeting to understand planned shift activities and ensure that issues requiring attention are appropriately handed over.
- Reports all accidents, incidents and near misses to the Day Crew Supervisor and assist in incident investigation.
- Complies with the set housekeeping standards and procedures.
- Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls.
