Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver training and evaluation material meeting WANO and FANR standards
- Analyze, design, develop, deliver, implement and evaluate operator training programs
- Validate and deliver FANR exams to ensure operations personnel qualification
- Administer written exams and simulator and job performance evaluations
- Deliver training on operational procedures, eSOMS, and nuclear technologies
- Check assigned actions in Corrective Action Program to prevent overdue items
Requirements
- Certified as a qualified instructor for the material being presented
- High School Certification
- 5 years of relevant experience, including 3 months in a Nuclear Power Plant
- Demonstrated knowledge of instructional techniques through training or experience
- Instructors of FANR Certified SROs or CROs shall hold or have held a Senior Reactor Operator Certification

Job Purpose
- Deliver technical instruction and evaluations for Operations personnel and key management staff at Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP).
- Develop and administer Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulations (FANR) exams.
- Share best practices with entry level instructors to improve training program.
Training Development and Administration
- Prepare and deliver training and evaluation material in an effective manner that meets WANO and FANR standards.
- Analyze, design, develop, deliver, implement and evaluate various operator training programs (Certified and Non Certified).
- Validate and deliver FANR exams to ensure Operations personnel attain and maintain necessary qualification.
- Administer written exams and simulator and job performance evaluations.
- Deliver training to key Nawah personnel on relevant operational procedures, eSOMS training, and nuclear technologies.
Corrective Action Program (CAP)
- Check all assigned actions to ensure that no actions go overdue.
- Check CAP to ensure any conditions adverse to quality are filed to engage improvement process.
Professional Certifications
- Certified as a qualified instructor for the material being presented.
- Instructors of FANR Certified Senior Reactor Operators or Certified Reactor Operators shall hold, or have held, a Senior Reactor Operator Certification at a Nuclear Power Plant.
- Preferred: Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) Instructor Certificate.
Qualifications
- Minimum: High School Certification.
- 5 years of relevant experience, out of which 3 months in a Nuclear Power Plant.
- Must have demonstrated knowledge of instructional techniques through training or experience.
- Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or other scientific discipline.
- Preferred: 5 years relevant work experience, out of which 3 years within Nuclear operations Training.
