About the Role
The Arab Monetary Fund is seeking a Senior Officer for Trade Sales & Support to lead business origination, structure trade finance transactions, and manage a sales pipeline. Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities with financial institutions, corporates, and strategic partners
- Structure and execute trade finance transactions in coordination with Credit, Risk, and Legal functions
- Manage and maintain a dynamic sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and consistent progress toward origination targets
- Monitor transaction performance and sales activities, and prepare regular reports and dashboards for management review
- Support cross functional teams in developing and enhancing trade finance products based on market feedback and client needs
- Implement call back actions or corrective measures where sales targets are not sustainably met or transactions underperform
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, and transaction status
- Ensure all trade sales and transaction processes comply with ATFP's operational policies, compliance guidelines, and risk management frameworks
- Support the development and continuous improvement of procedures related to business origination and transaction execution
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal teams including Credit, Risk, Legal, and Operations
- Support client relationship management activities to foster long term partnerships and repeat business
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through timely service delivery and proactive issue resolution
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in trade finance sales, corporate banking, or business development
- Fluency in both Arabic and English
- Strong expertise in client relationship management, deal structuring, and pipeline management
- Proven experience in structuring trade finance solutions and collaborating with Credit, Risk, and Legal teams
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, International Business, or a related field

JOB PURPOSE
- Lead business origination efforts by identifying new leads, engaging partners, and building a sustainable pipeline to support ATFP's mandate.
