- Design, analyse, test, and deploy new network sites and infrastructure.
- Plan and execute network deployments and upgrades.
- Plan and execute data centre onboarding, PoP deployments, and network equipment installations.
- Configure and deploy enterprise networking equipment (Cisco and Juniper) via secure remote methods.
- Design, implement, and test Cloud On-Ramp connectivity with providers such as AWS, Azure, and Oracle.
- Design, implement, and validate global network circuits.
- Operate and maintain the next-generation global network infrastructure.
- Provide Level 3 escalation support for major network incidents and customer-impacting issues.
- Support Network Operations Centre (NOC) teams during incident mitigation and troubleshooting.
- Identify the root causes of network issues and implement preventive measures.
- Document operational procedures and completed work in internal systems.
- Actively monitor, plan and execute network capacity management initiatives.
- Support network risk management and resilience improvements.
- Identify opportunities to redesign the network to optimise performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Execute assigned procurement activities to ensure adherence to network design standards.
- Perform carrier and vendor technical analysis.
- Manage assigned network deployment and infrastructure projects end-to-end.
- Coordinate with engineering, deployment, and operations teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide regular reporting on network performance, deployments, and infrastructure growth.
- Contribute to technical documentation, SOPs, and operational processes.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and operations teams.
- Contribute to the development of training materials for Network Operations staff.
- Act as a senior technical escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.
- Work closely with other departments across Megaport (e.g., Network/Infrastructure, Engineering, Procurement/Suppliers as relevant) to achieve shared business goals.
- Enhance integration between Megaport teams to reduce resolution times, enhance accountability, and improve customer outcomes.
- Advocate for the customer internally by turning feedback and recurring issues into clear, prioritised improvement initiatives.
- 6+ years of experience working with large-scale network deployments and operations
- Strong experience with routing and MPLS technologies, including BGP, ISIS, MPLS Traffic Engineering, and MPLS L2/L3 VPN
- Production experience with Juniper and Cisco network platforms
- Experience deploying and troubleshooting data centre network infrastructure
- Experience working with fibre optic technologies and DWDM environments
- Familiarity with cloud networking and SDN concepts
- Experience with Python, Perl, Linux environments or similar scripting languages is highly desirable
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and across distributed teams
- Proactive and self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset
- Strong focus on delivering an excellent customer experience
- Able to work autonomously within a globally dispersed team environment, managing competing priorities with minimal supervision.

• Planning & Project Delivery
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills; effectively plans and manages workload in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Exposure to running projects effectively is essential (driving initiatives across process, tooling, reporting, service improvements, or training uplift).

- The working day is 8 hours, and the working week is 40 hours.
- Working visits to the Locations which are under your responsibility for meeting partners, vendors, team, checking the quality of the network
- 90-day notice period for resignation after the trial period
- Working exclusively for Extreme Infocom Pvt. Ltd. and not for any other companies.
