Role Overview
Senior Network Engineer – LAN supporting a large-scale SaaS production environment.
The role maintains and troubleshoots a mission-critical datacenter network built on Cisco Nexus platforms.
The position covers routing, switching, security, load balancing, automation, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues for external customers.
- Partner with Network Architects and Engineers to improve datacenter environments.
- Initiate network operations improvement projects.
- Work with internal business units to understand needs and apply operational standards.
- Review, analyze, and execute network change requests.
- Execute, document, and develop automation for repetitive network tasks.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience with medium-to-large enterprise networks.
- Hands-on expertise with Palo Alto firewalls and F5 or equivalent load balancing.
- Hands-on expertise with MPLS, OSPF, BGP, and Cisco Nexus switching.
- Working knowledge of Cisco IOS, with Nexus OS preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Python, Netmiko, Nornir, and NAPALM.
