Role Overview
Senior Network Engineer role requiring around five years of hands-on enterprise networking experience.
The role covers networking, routing, switching, firewalls, and network security.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks.
- Manage Cisco, Aruba, and Alcatel switches.
- Configure and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, NAT, and security policies.
- Apply VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP, ACL, and link aggregation technologies.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, packet loss, latency, Internet, VPN, firewall, and performance issues.
- Handle customer incidents independently and resolve issues promptly.
- Perform firmware upgrades, configuration backups, network health checks, and preventive maintenance.
- Support network implementation, migration, and upgrade projects.
- Coordinate escalations with ISPs and OEM support teams.
- Maintain network documentation and prepare incident and RCA reports.
- Provide onsite and remote technical support to customers.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant networking experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good customer communication and documentation skills.
- Valid UAE Driving License.
- CCNA or CCNP certification.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 6,000 to AED 8,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
