Role overview
Senior Network Engineer role focused on strategic network design, implementation, optimization, and operational management.
The position is based in Dubai and has a stated duration of six months.
Core responsibilities
- Lead network solution design and deployment for performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
- Manage network resources and apply network reliability best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and manage cloud services.
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers.
Technical expertise
- Networking protocols include TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs.
- Networking hardware includes Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Aruba, and Palo Alto.
- Monitoring tools include ManageEngine and OpManager.
- Cloud platforms include AWS VPC and Azure Virtual Network.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and enhance network infrastructure and integrate Amazon Cloud services.
- Install, configure, and deploy routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitor performance and maintain uptime at or above 99.9%.
- Resolve complex network issues, security breaches, and hardware failures.
