Key Responsibilities
- Support enterprise data engineering, ETL, data quality, metadata, and governance platforms.
- Develop, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Informatica workflows, mappings, applications, and data pipelines.
- Administer Informatica domains, nodes, repositories, Integration Services, and application services.
- Support Informatica PowerCenter, BDM or DEI, IDQ, and EDC or Axon in production and non-production environments.
- Investigate failed jobs, data-quality exceptions, performance issues, and platform incidents.
- Complete root-cause analysis and implement corrective action.
- Support Cloudera Hadoop services and processing across HDFS, Hive, Spark, and PySpark workloads.
- Perform deployments and migrations across development, QA, UAT, and production environments.
- Use Linux, shell scripting, and SQL for automation, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Support user access, security, and permissions under established controls.
- Coordinate incidents and planned changes with technical and business stakeholders.
- Maintain operational documentation, handover notes, change records, and support procedures.
Must-Have Technical Skills
- Informatica skills include PowerCenter, BDM or DEI, IDQ, EDC or Axon, ETL development, monitoring, troubleshooting, administration, and performance tuning.
- Big data skills include Cloudera or Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, and Spark or PySpark.
- Core platform skills include Linux or Unix, shell scripting, advanced SQL, Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server, and enterprise production support.
- Experience with data warehouse or data lake environments is required.
Experience Requirements
- At least 10 years of relevant data engineering, Informatica development, Informatica administration, or closely related experience.
- Strong hands-on experience supporting enterprise production environments and resolving data-platform incidents independently.
- Experience across both Informatica and Cloudera or Hadoop environments.
- Experience with high-volume data pipelines, data warehouses, or data lakes.
- UAE or GCC enterprise or government experience is advantageous.
Compensation
- Pay starts from AED 7,709.63 per month.
Project Duration
- The project is a four-month short-term project.
Work Location
- Work is in person in Dubai.
