Install, maintain, repair, replace, and connect/disconnect electricity meters in accordance with work orders, technical standards, and safety requirements.
Perform cold and hot commissioning of new meter points, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and compliance with regulatory and client requirements.
Diagnose, investigate, and document meter failures, communication issues, and system anomalies, escalating complex issues as required.
Operate field testing and diagnostic equipment, analyze results, and produce clear, accurate technical reports.
Prepare, organize, and maintain tools, equipment, and materials to support efficient and safe field execution.
Inspect, clean, and maintain tools and equipment to ensure they remain in safe operating condition.
Conduct routine inspections of assigned sites to identify maintenance requirements, safety risks, or hazardous conditions.
Utilize a variety of equipment including hand and power tools, area‑specific metering equipment, ladders, testing equipment, generators, and department vehicles to complete assigned work.
Travel to client sites throughout Ontario, including occasional overnight stays as required.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support field operations and project delivery.
MEARIE Meter designation required; Level 3 graduates may be considered.
