Join Kier Mechanical & Electrical (KME), our internal MEP self-delivery design and build business supporting regional operations across the UK. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor (MEPH), you'll play a key role in managing the commercial aspects of schemes, maximising project profitability whilst building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex and challenging projects across sectors including custodial, commercial, health and science.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor (MEPH), you'll be working within the Kier Mechanical & Electrical (KME) team, supporting them in delivering successful project outcomes through effective commercial management. Your day to day will include:
Managing commercial resources to maximise planned gross margin through effective contract placement and control
Undertaking procurement activities including subcontract enquiries, tender reviews and order production
Producing monthly cost reports, commercial plans and client reports, ensuring accurate forecasting and risk management
Valuing and measuring change, advising on contractual matters and managing subcontractor administration
Leading and motivating commercial staff, supporting their development and ensuring collaborative relationships across project teams

This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor (MEPH) is great for you if:
You hold a degree or HND/HNC in Quantity Surveying and have demonstrable experience as a surveyor delivering multiple small or medium schemes
You have a clear understanding of main forms of contract (JCT, NEC etc) and technical knowledge of MEPH services and systems
You hold a Full driving licence, SMSTS/CSCS card, and are competent in Microsoft Office applications
You're a proactive problem solver with strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and provide accurate reports on time
You're a collaborative team player who builds and maintains positive relationships, communicates clearly and is enthusiastic about supporting others
