Responsibilities
- Lead the design, planning, and implementation of large scale road and highway projects
- Provide strategic technical guidance, mentorship, and professional development to junior engineers and cross functional project teams
- Develop and champion innovative, sustainable solutions for transportation infrastructure challenges specific to the Gulf region's climate and terrain
- Oversee the integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) across infrastructure projects and coordinate effectively with multiple disciplines
- Conduct comprehensive technical reviews, quality assurance audits, and validation checks on all project deliverables
- Collaborate with stakeholders, government agencies, and clients to align project objectives with organizational goals
- Contribute to business development initiatives, proposal writing, and client presentations
- Stay current with emerging technologies, industry best practices, and evolving standards in road and highway engineering
- Analyze complex technical challenges and implement decisive, data driven solutions
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive team environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 20 years of experience, including extensive experience in engineering consultancy and site supervision
- Proven track record in managing mechanical works including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting systems, LPG/NG, and fuel systems across large scale construction projects
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, including heat load calculations and system sizing
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems, piping systems, and industrial mechanical equipment
- Proficiency in CAD and BIM software
- Familiarity with project management tools and construction methodologies
- Strong problem solving skills with a detail oriented approach
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, multicultural project environment
