Position Overview
Perform specialized mechanical engineering assignments of moderate complexity while working independently on design elements.
Provide technical guidance to junior team members and manage assigned work with minimal supervision.
Core Responsibilities
- Execute detailed and routine engineering assignments, including calculations, testing, and analysis using established procedures.
- Gather, correlate, and validate engineering data using well-defined methodologies.
- Independently complete primary design elements and engineering deliverables.
Problem-Solving and Quality
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in engineering results and data.
- Adapt standard procedures and previous project experience to propose solutions to new technical challenges.
- Maintain quality assurance and follow established procedures.
Project Management
- Manage assigned engineering work within agreed budgets and schedules with minimal supervision.
- Provide technical mentoring and guidance to junior engineering staff.
