Role Overview
AECOM is seeking an experienced Construction Manager specializing in civils and cut-and-cover projects in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The role oversees civil works and cut-and-cover tunnel construction.
Duties
- Oversee construction activities within site boundaries from inception to completion.
- Monitor progress against contractor schedules and report labor, equipment, and tool availability.
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning.
- Ensure contractors obtain required permits to work.
- Identify risks and opportunities and recommend cost and schedule improvements.
- Prepare project status reports for management and the client.
- Manage contracts, claims avoidance, construction claims, and contractual performance.
- Support site safety planning and ensure quality, health, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage contractor priorities, performance, feedback, and contractual obligations.
- Advise subordinates on schedules and technical problems.
