Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the Role

Site Execution

• Supervise and manage mechanical works at project sites.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
• Lead execution and installation of mechanical equipment.

Design and Documentation Support

• Provide input for shop drawings.
• Assist with Bill of Quantities extraction and verification.
• Prepare and review material submittals and method statements.

Planning and Coordination

• Develop manpower schedules and resource allocation plans.
• Monitor progress against project timelines.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and consultants to resolve technical issues.
• Attend project meetings and provide execution and planning updates.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant qualification.
• At least 8 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry.
• Experience managing and executing STP plants above 50 MLD capacity.
• At least 5 years of UAE-based experience in site execution, design support, and project planning or coordination.
• Currently based in the UAE.
• Willingness to work full-time on an STP project site.

Preferred Qualification

• A background in Mechanical Engineering is strongly preferred.

Work Location and Schedule

• Work location is Warsan, Dubai, and the role is site-based.
• Working days are Sunday through Friday.
• Hours are Sunday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Interview Process

• The interview process consists of three face-to-face rounds.
