Sales Engineer

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales growth for fabricated steel structures, skids, platforms, piping systems, pressure vessels, water treatment units, and related projects.
• Develop opportunities in Oil & Gas, water treatment, EPC, and industrial sectors.
• Manage relationships with operators, EPC contractors, procurement teams, engineering managers, and project managers.
• Review client requirements, technical specifications, and drawings to propose fabrication solutions.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals with estimation and engineering teams.
• Lead commercial negotiations and support contract finalization.
• Track market developments, competitors, sales pipeline data, forecasts, and performance reports.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, and operations to support execution and customer satisfaction.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in mechanical engineering or a related technical field.
• At least three years of UAE experience selling fabrication projects or heavy industrial equipment.
• Proven Oil & Gas sector experience.
• Knowledge of fabricated steel structures, pressure vessels, piping, skid packages, platforms, modules, and water treatment equipment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.

Preferred skills

• An existing UAE network among Oil & Gas operators, EPC contractors, and industrial clients is preferred.
• Tendering, proposal preparation, and contract negotiation experience is preferred.
• Commercial acumen and business development capability are preferred.
