Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on piling and heavy construction equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical faults
- Repair and overhaul engines, transmissions, hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, and control systems
- Inspect equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
- Carry out servicing, testing, and commissioning after repairs
- Read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics, technical manuals, and service documentation
- Maintain maintenance records, job reports, and spare parts documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and manufacturer guidelines
- Support field service activities and provide technical guidance to junior mechanics when required
Requirements
- Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in heavy equipment maintenance
- Experience in piling and foundation equipment is mandatory
- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Equipment Maintenance, or related trade
- Advanced knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy equipment mechanics
- Ability to read technical manuals and hydraulic/electrical diagrams
- GCC experience preferred

Job Summary
- A leading construction company in the UAE is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanic – Piling / Heavy Equipment to maintain, diagnose, and repair heavy construction machinery used in piling and foundation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on piling and heavy construction equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical faults.
- Repair and overhaul engines, transmissions, hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, and control systems.
- Inspect equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Carry out servicing, testing, and commissioning after repairs.

Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Equipment Maintenance, Automobile Engineering, or related trade.
- Technical certifications in heavy equipment maintenance are an advantage.
- Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in heavy equipment maintenance.
- GCC experience preferred.
- Experience in piling and foundation equipment is mandatory.
Skills & Competencies
- Advanced knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy equipment mechanics.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read technical manuals and hydraulic/electrical diagrams.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently under demanding site conditions.
