Purpose & Overall Relevance

  • Workplaces is responsible for active management of Global Real Estate Portfolio including leases, transactions, design, construction and operations for offices, showrooms and DCs.
  • Supports successful implementation of 'Through Sports we have the Power to Change Lives' by supporting revenue growth, portfolio optimization and creating great workplaces.
  • In this role, responsible for quality management and development and coordination of assigned service area at adidas locations in Emerging Markets Central (UAE, KSA, Egypt, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Jordan).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead various tasks with high complexity and functional responsibility requiring in depth operational experience.
  • Manage and lead small to large scale projects across multiple locations and stakeholders.
  • Manage and deliver consistent, first class facility management service standards within agreed budgets, schedules and scope.
  • Manage effective operation and continuous development of building system procedures and programs.
  • Identify and manage relationships with key stakeholders and build a broad network.
  • Manage and deliver measures for consistent improvement of 'Workplace Experience'.
  • Create and ensure compliance with regional KPIs and SLAs related to facility and employee experience operations.
  • Develop and manage annual operation budgets, ensure accurate forecasts and communicate risks and opportunities.
  • Implement efficient operations of all service areas, proactively identify cost savings opportunities.
  • Manage financial, facility management processes and accurate/timely reporting.
  • Develop and implement processes related to internal corporate employee moves and workplace environment changes.
  • Drive employee focused workplace initiatives and activations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Very good English and local language skills.
  • Ability to implement business strategies with end to end mindset.
  • Contribute significantly on managing a clear framework for team members/project teams.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal teams and key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills including impactful presentation and influencing skills.
  • Ability to deliver effective written and formal communications at all levels.
  • Proven abilities to deliver results with tight deadlines and deal effectively in pressured situations.
  • Ability to work in a fast moving environment with different international cultures.
  • Business mind set: Strong numerical and analytical skills, experience in finance.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of controlling systems and integrated workplace management systems (IWMS).
  • Focus on service and customer satisfaction, leadership/leadership culture.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree related to facility management or related field or equivalent combination of training & experience.
  • Minimum 7 years working experience in respective area.
  • 2+ years of experience in leading a business area and in people management.
