- Collaborate with business units to define scopes of work, technical requirements, and commercial terms
- Review and approve tender documents, including RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and contractual conditions
- Lead commercial evaluations and negotiations to ensure optimal total cost of ownership
- Oversee tender evaluation committees and ensure proper documentation
- Manage high value, complex, and strategic tenders, including framework agreements
- Provide award recommendations and approval submissions to senior management
- Track tender performance, cycle times, savings, and compliance metrics
- Build capability within the tendering team through coaching and training
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Relevant certifications such as CPSM, CPPM, or CIPS highly desirable
- Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement or vendor management, with at least 3 5 years in a senior or managerial role
- Demonstrated experience in vendor registration, onboarding, compliance verification, and performance evaluation
- Deep understanding of vendor governance frameworks
- Familiarity with UAE regulations related to trade licensing, VAT, and corporate registration
- Proficiency with ERP and vendor management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba)
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, and compliance
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and decision making skills

Role Overview
- MAIR Group is seeking a strategic and results driven Senior Manager – Tendering to lead and manage the end to end tendering and sourcing process across the organization.
- This role is critical to ensuring that all tenders are planned, executed, evaluated, and awarded in a transparent, compliant, and value driven manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the end to end tendering process, including sourcing strategy, tender planning, issuance, clarification management, evaluation, negotiation, and award.
- Develop and standardize tendering policies, procedures, templates, and evaluation methodologies.
- Ensure all tenders are conducted in a fair, transparent, and auditable manner.
- Collaborate with business units to define clear scopes of work, technical requirements, commercial terms, and evaluation criteria.
- Review and approve tender documents, including RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, commercial terms, and contractual conditions.
- Lead commercial evaluations and negotiations, ensuring optimal total cost of ownership, risk allocation, and value for money.
- Oversee tender evaluation committees, ensuring consistency, objectivity, and proper documentation.
- Manage high value, complex, and strategic tenders, including long term framework agreements and multi year contracts.
- Provide award recommendations and approval submissions to senior management and governance committees.
- Track tender performance, cycle times, savings, and compliance metrics.
- Ensure proper handover of awarded contracts to contract management and procurement operations teams.
- Build capability within the tendering team through coaching, training, and performance management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Relevant certifications such as CPSM, CPPM, or CIPS are highly desirable.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement or vendor management, with at least 3–5 years in a senior or managerial role.
- Demonstrated experience in vendor registration, onboarding, compliance verification, and performance evaluation.
- Deep understanding of vendor governance frameworks, including documentation standards, registration protocols, and blacklisting procedures.
- Familiarity with UAE regulations related to trade licensing, taxation (VAT), and corporate registration.
- Proficiency with ERP and vendor management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba).
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, and compliance.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and decision making skills.
