Overview
- To drive profitable growth of the FMCG import export business through strategic sourcing, margin optimization, and strengthening of the existing team capabilities.
- *Key Responsibilities:*
- Identify and develop international suppliers with focus on high margin and fast moving product categories.
- Drive product portfolio strategy to improve overall margins and reduce low yielding SKUs.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and supply conditions to ensure competitive advantage.
- Build and implement structured sourcing and procurement processes.
- Guide and upgrade current team capabilities.
- Identify new market opportunities, product gaps, and emerging trends.
- Work closely with finance and operations to ensure healthy working capital and inventory turnover.
- Establish vendor performance tracking and cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with import regulations, documentation, and logistics coordination.
