Senior Manager Estates Management

• Shape the future of a major international veterinary estate – help develop and deliver the Real Estate Strategy across a rapidly growing network of veterinary clinics and hospitals.
• Own a high-impact property portfolio – develop and implement asset management strategies that inform decisions to retain, invest, expand, relocate or divest sites.
• Be a trusted property expert – provide senior property advice across the business, including acquisitions, portfolio growth, lease negotiations, due diligence and complex estate matters.
• Work internationally and collaboratively – partner with senior stakeholders, internal teams and external advisers across multiple countries and functions.
• Lead transformation and growth – help shape effective property governance, policies and processes while developing the Estates capability as the in-house team grows.

The team

You’ll join the Global Real Estate, Facilities & Management (REFM) team and report directly to the Director of Real Estate

You’ll work closely with senior business leaders and colleagues across Real Estate, Construction, Finance, Legal, Operations and other corporate functions, as well as landlords, solicitors, consultants and other external partners.

The role offers significant scope to influence how the estate develops as the organisation continues to grow.

What we’re looking for

• Significant senior estates management experience , ideally with at least 10 years’ experience and strong knowledge of property legislation and practices across multiple European countries.
• Strong property portfolio and asset management expertise , with the ability to develop strategies that support growth, investment, optimisation, relocation and disposal decisions.
• Proven experience managing complex landlord and tenant matters , including rent reviews, lease renewals, new leases, regears, variations and surrenders, with a track record of managing risk and achieving value.
• Experience supporting business acquisitions and growth programmes , including property due diligence, securing appropriate property terms and advising stakeholders on property-related decisions.
