Role Overview

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement design guidelines for development projects with the Design Director.
• Ensure successful implementation of design plans for assigned projects.
• Advise leadership on design consultant candidates through outreach, RFP development, contract execution, and contract administration.
• Support development teams with design strategies for efficient project completion.
• Support design, development, and construction teams with schedules, budgets, and plans.
• Conduct periodic internal design reviews and take corrective actions when needed.
• Review design deliverables and recommend actions to maintain quality and strategic alignment.
• Coordinate consultants from pre-concept through execution to align with the master plan.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field.
• Master's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• At least seven years of experience in design management, architecture, urban planning, master planning, or large-scale mixed-use development projects.
• Knowledge of master planning, urban design guidelines, design governance frameworks, and design quality assurance processes.
• Strong consultant management and negotiation capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
