Role Overview
The Senior Manager, Data Governance & Quality supports the Director in designing, implementing, and operationalizing data quality governance across business lines.
The role supports Tangerine’s Data & AI strategy and regulatory compliance.
The role ensures critical data elements are accurate, complete, consistent, timely, and fit for purpose for reporting, analytics, AI projects, and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Support data risk management and governance practices that meet internal policies and regulatory expectations.
- Execute the enterprise Data Quality Management Framework and design, enhance, and validate data quality rules and controls.
- Oversee data quality issue management, including ownership, SLA tracking, escalation, and timely resolution.
- Partner with business lines on remediation and monitor data quality performance, trends, and risks.
- Embed data quality controls, policies, standards, and procedures with data custodians and the Data Office.
