Lead the Sports R&D function, directing research initiatives that support evidence-based practices in athlete performance, injury prevention, and recovery.

Foster collaboration between Sports R&D, HP staff, and federations to translate research findings into actionable insights that enhance training effectiveness.

Oversee the adoption of innovative technologies and methodologies, aligning research outcomes with strategic goals to advance competitive advantages.

Serve as a key liaison with federation leaders, fostering strong partnerships to drive alignment on HP objectives, expectations, and resource needs.

Represent SOPC in high-performance discussions with national and international partners, advocating for SOPC’s strategic priorities and securing external support.

Build relationships with external experts, researchers, and institutions to bring cutting-edge knowledge and resources into the SOPC’s high-performance framework.

Regularly monitor federation and athlete performance data, collaborating with HP staff and coaches to identify trends, address challenges, and ensure objectives are met.

Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within federations, implementing feedback mechanisms to refine high-performance strategies and operations.

Establish benchmarks and regularly review SOPC’s high-performance practices against international standards, adapting approaches to ensure SOPC remains at the forefront of athlete development and success.
