Role summary - We’re looking for a Senior Manager, China Compliance to support global Compliance teams by coordinating the local implementation of group requirements, providing China market insight, and helping ensure global policies and controls are applied effectively to the China business.

The role will serve as the local coordination point for China stakeholders, helping resolve compliance-related friction, identify control and process enhancements, and maintain compliance integrity across cross-border business operations.

What you’ll do

• Advise on and coordinate local implementation of group compliance, financial crime, sanctions requirements applicable to the China business.
• Serve as the local point of contact for China stakeholders on compliance-related matters involving overseas licensed entities and global policy owners.
• Provide China market context and practical implementation feedback to global teams to support fit-for-purpose policy, process, and control design.
• Engage China leadership and stakeholders to identify pain points, formulate issue resolution, and coordinate action plan implementation.
• Coordinate escalation handling, open-item tracking, decision documentation, and timely follow-up through agreed channels and stakeholder routines.
