Role Overview

  • Senior Manager CAMO is responsible for efficient and effective oversight of the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) in line with QCAA Regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure Part 145 services are provided as per agreed contracts in terms of safety, quality and cost.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance for all maintenance, modification and repair activities to the highest standard and safety level.

Main Duties

  • Develop, implement and maintain an Aircraft Maintenance Programme along with an efficient reliability program for the Helicopter fleet.
  • Participate in the development of long term strategy by proactively planning resources to cope with fleet growth plans.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure sustainable compliance to regulations.
  • Develop and deliver policies and procedures that ensure operational requirements are consistently met, cost effectively, safely and compliantly.
  • Develop Helicopter CAMO into an effective organization to manage continuing airworthiness of fleet.
  • Determine appropriate strategies to optimize manpower, resources and systems to improve efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Identify and implement industry best practices to enhance operational effectiveness and organizational performance.
  • Support the development and growth of helicopter operations in alignment with strategic objectives.

Qualification, Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, or other relevant aviation discipline.
  • Professional qualifications and aircraft maintenance licences are desirable.
  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience.
  • Executive Management job related experience required.
  • Experience managing helicopter continuing airworthiness activities is highly desirable.
  • Experience in performing engineering and/or maintenance planning activities, preferably in a corporate, regional or charter aircraft environment.
  • Experience within a QCAA and/or EASA regulatory environment.
  • Demonstrated project management and leadership experience.
