Role Overview
- The Helicopter Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of helicopters in support of VIP and VVIP transportation missions.
Main Duties
- Ensure that all operational procedures and checklists are complied with in accordance with applicable regulations and manuals.
- Take all measures required for safety during all phases of flight.
- Verify aircraft airworthiness and ensure all required documentation, equipment, and operational approvals are valid.
- Conduct thorough pre flight planning, risk assessments, weather evaluations, and mission briefings.
- Delegate tasks to the crew and other suitable personnel.
- Encourage teamwork and ensure stakeholders receive necessary information.
Qualifications
- Current type rating on Sikorsky S 92.
- Minimum 3000 total helicopter flight hours.
- Minimum 500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) experience.
- Minimum 100 hours PIC on type.
- Demonstrated experience in multi crew helicopter operations.
- Previous VIP/VVIP helicopter operations experience preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of aviation regulations, operational procedures, and safety management.
- Proficient in English language.
- Effective communication and strong leadership skills.
- Ability to operate in complex and demanding environments.
