**To be successful in this role you will need the following: **
Comprehensive maintenance expertise : You need the ability to maximize equipment availability and reliability across forging, CNC machining, and heat‑treat systems through disciplined preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices.
Advanced diagnostic and RCA capability : Success requires strong troubleshooting skills for presses, ejectors, clutches, spindles, hydraulics, and linear systems, paired with structured root‑cause analysis and permanent corrective‑action implementation.
Precision mechanical and calibration skills : You must be proficient in alignment, balancing, installation, calibration, and accuracy‑improvement activities for presses, CNC machines, broaches, heaters, conveyors, and heat‑treat equipment.
Safety, systems, and leadership capability : You need strong adherence to LOTO, permits, risk assessments, and statutory compliance, along with the ability to guide and train maintenance personnel and work effectively with platforms like eMaint, Oracle ERP, and Kronos.
College, university, or equivalent degree required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to Forging press, Ejector system, Clutch mechanism, spindle systems, ball screws, linear guides, hydraulic units etc.
Perform root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
Understanding of machine electrical schematics along with PLC troubleshooting is essential.
Maintain forging presses, billet heaters, conveyors, CNC Machine, Broaches and plant utility equipment.
Ensure proper alignment, balance,and installation of mechanical equipment.
Support machine accuracy improvement through calibration and preventive maintenance activities.
Maintain heat treatment furnaces, quench tanks, tempering furnaces, atmosphere control systems, burners, fans, and cooling systems.
Prepare spare parts specifications and procurement requirements.
Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), permit-to-work systems, and statutory requirements.
Conduct risk assessments before maintenance activities.
Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance personnel.
