Waschsalon laundry is looking for a Senior Laundryman / Laundry Supervisor to oversee laundry operations.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect customer garments and towels.
- Determine the appropriate cleaning method (hand wash, machine wash, or dry cleaning).
- Apply suitable stain removal techniques and chemicals while ensuring fabric safety.
- Tag, sort, and organize garments accurately.
- Operate laundry washing equipment when required.
- Ensure garments are cleaned according to quality standards.
- Coordinate with the pressing department and maintain quality control.
- Pack finished garments neatly for delivery.
- Supervise and guide the pressman to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality finishing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry production area.
- Report damaged garments or special customer instructions to management.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a commercial laundry or hotel laundry.
- Strong knowledge of fabric identification, garment care, stain identification, and stain removal techniques.
- Ability to decide whether garments require hand washing, machine washing, or dry cleaning.
- Experience with garment tagging, sorting, packing, and quality inspection.
- Knowledge of steam pressing and finishing.
- Leadership skills to supervise and coordinate the pressman.
- Basic English communication skills.
