Role Overview
Lead the design, planning, and execution of residential and commercial landscape projects.
Combine creative design, technical expertise, project management, and client leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead conceptual design, detailed design, and documentation for public and private landscape projects.
- Prepare site analyses, master plans, planting plans, grading and drainage drawings, and construction details.
- Manage projects from feasibility through construction completion, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and stakeholder communication.
- Conduct site visits, assess existing conditions, and direct construction administration activities.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, planners, and environmental consultants.
- Present design concepts and technical information to clients, municipalities, and community groups.
- Mentor junior landscape architects and technicians.
- Oversee tender documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Maintain client relationships and contribute to business development when appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution.
- 6 to 8 years of professional experience with a proven portfolio of built or advanced-stage projects.
- Strong proficiency in CAD, 3D modeling, rendering software, and standard design tools.
- Solid understanding of planting design and construction materials.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and lead teams independently.
