About the Role
Egis is looking for a Senior Land Surveyor to perform land/field surveys, geodetic calculations, and verify setting-out and levels. - Perform land/field surveys and geodetic calculations
- Check setting out and levels
- Check services locations and ensure their protection
- Prepare sketches to support the field work
- Maintain all survey information (field books, sketches and calculations)
- Assist concerned Engineer in verification and checking of shop drawings
- Verification & routine checks of control points and benchmarks
- Recording of initial and final levels of works
- Verification of earthwork cross sections
- Assist in the preparation of ‘as built’ drawings
- Review of 'as built' record drawings
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of field surveying techniques for establishing horizontal and vertical Control to a high tolerance
- Familiar with modern survey instruments (GPS, Total station and Digital level, etc.)
- Knowledge of computer software (AutoCAD, Microsoft excel, word)
- Experience with International Roughness Index Surveying (IRI T st)
