The role focuses on modernizing CitiDirect payment flows, particularly the payment validation layer, while exploring AI tooling.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a small local development team.
- Participate actively in coding and problem-solving with a hands-on development presence.
- Architect scalable solutions and lead major development initiatives and projects.
- Oversee code quality, code reviews, coding standards, and best practices.
- Drive technology and methodology adoption to improve productivity and product quality.
- Define technical strategy and roadmap with product managers and stakeholders.
- Manage technical debt, guide system optimizations, and foster continuous learning.
- Serve as the local contact point for Canada-based team members.
