Role Overview

Citi is seeking a hands-on full-stack developer with eight to twelve years of comprehensive development experience.

The role combines Java backend development, React.js front-end development, microservices, cloud infrastructure, and modern delivery practices.

The position is identified as Senior Java Full Stack Developer - Assistant Vice President.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java and Spring Boot backend services.
  • Implement scalable microservices architectures with high availability, resilience, and performance.
  • Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces using Node.js.
  • Contribute from solution design through deployment and operational support.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and project scope.
  • Use cloud infrastructure for deployment, scaling, and application management.
  • Drive CI/CD adoption with Release on Demand, GitHub Enterprise, Harness, and Lightspeed.
  • Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote technical excellence.
  • Address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and technical debt.
  • Maintain documentation for developed components and processes.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Eight to twelve years of hands-on software development experience.
  • Strong Java and Spring Boot experience.
  • Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.
  • Experience developing API services with database technologies including MongoDB and Oraas.
  • Good React.js experience for front-end development.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, independence, collaboration, and attention to detail.
  • Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Experience with GitHub Enterprise.
  • Mandatory experience with Lightspeed.

Good to Have

  • Exposure to additional UI technology stacks.
  • Experience with database technologies such as Oracle or Oraas.
  • Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Experience with AI coding tools such as Devin.
  • Experience implementing AI use-case proofs of concept.
  • Python experience.
