Responsibilities
- The role focuses on the design, development, and support of front-office electronic trading applications used by the Derivatives Principal Flow Trading business. You will: • Design, develop, and support latency-sensitive trading applications and trading algorithms • Drive projects and end-to-end deliveries, taking ownership from design through production deployment • Work closely with traders, quants, and business stakeholders to translate complex business and regulatory requirements into innovative technical solutions • Build robust, scalable, and highly available Java server-side systems • Apply software engineering best practices to ensure solution quality, security, reliability, performance, and compliance • Enhance observability, monitoring, and production support capabilities, proactively identifying and resolving operational risks • Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term remediation measures • Collaborate within a global Agile team delivering business value in iterative development cycles • Mentor junior developers and actively contribute to engineering excellence and knowledge sharing initiatives • Drive adoption of modern development practices, including AI-assisted software engineering and automation
