About the Role
A leading global investment firm seeks a Principal to join its APAC infrastructure team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves leading direct infrastructure investments and fund commitments across APAC, from origination to execution and portfolio management.

Responsibilities
- Lead the evaluation and execution of direct infrastructure investments and fund commitments across APAC
- Build and review complex financial models, valuations and investment cases to support decision making
- Lead commercial, financial and operational due diligence alongside external advisors and management teams
- Prepare and present investment recommendations to senior leadership and Investment Committee
- Manage transaction execution, fund due diligence, negotiations and documentation through to completion
- Develop relationships with sponsors, advisors, management teams and other market participants to originate and assess new investment opportunities
Requirements
- Significant transaction experience and proven track record of evaluating and executing investment opportunities in infrastructure, ideally within the APAC region
- Exceptional financial modelling and analytical skills, with a strong grasp of valuation and accounting concepts
- Confident communicator, comfortable working in a collaborative, high performance environment
- Willingness to be based full time in Abu Dhabi

- Our client is a leading global investment firm with a long term track record across private markets.
- The firm is looking to add a Principal to its APAC infrastructure team, which invests across Hong Kong, Japan, China, South Korea, SEA and Australia through direct co investments and fund commitments.
What the job involves
- Leading the evaluation and execution of direct infrastructure investments and fund commitments across APAC.
- Building and reviewing complex financial models, valuations and investment cases to support decision making.
