Responsibilities

Lead the design process for luxury residential and commercial projects from initial client briefing and concept development through to detailed design and virtual project coordination
Prepare mood boards, space plans, and design presentations
Select materials, finishes, and FF&E aligned with client expectations and project budgets
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as architects, consultants, and suppliers
Review and refine construction drawings, ensuring design intent is accurately translated
Provide design guidance and feedback to junior team members
Support quality control of deliverables
Participate in client review meetings and uphold SKAMLI’s design standards across all projects

Requirements

Minimum 7 10 years of professional experience in high end residential, hospitality, commercial, or luxury projects
Proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning with a strong portfolio of luxury residential and commercial projects
Working knowledge of Architecture and coordination with multidisciplinary design teams
Ability to develop and review detailed Construction Drawings to communicate design intent clearly
Experience with FF&E selection, specification, and scheduling for high end interiors
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
Strong skills in design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar, Adobe Creative Suite, 3D visualization tools)
Strong understanding of AI tools and platforms relevant to interior design
Excellent visual communication, presentation, and written communication skills in English
Proven ability to manage multiple projects remotely, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision
Experience working with international clients and familiarity with MENA and/or UK residential design standards is an advantage

Role Description

This is a Full Time, in person role for a Senior Interior Designer.
The Senior Interior Designer will lead the design process for luxury residential & commercial projects, from initial client briefing and concept development through to detailed design and virtual project coordination.
Daily responsibilities include preparing mood boards, space plans, and design presentations; selecting materials, finishes, and FF&E; and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
The role involves reviewing and refining construction drawings, ensuring design intent is accurately translated, and providing design guidance and feedback to junior team members.
The Senior Interior Designer will also support quality control of deliverables, participate in client review meetings, and uphold SKAMLI’s design standards across all projects.

Qualifications

Minimum 7–10 years of professional experience in high end residential, hospitality, commercial, or luxury projects.
Proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning, with a strong portfolio of luxury residential and commercial projects.
Working knowledge of Architecture and coordination with multidisciplinary design teams.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive monthly salary of AED 8,000 – AED 12,000 + Commission, based on experience, portfolio quality, technical capability, and overall suitability for the role.
