Senior Integration and Support Engineer

Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for enterprise Java applications in a production environment. • Troubleshoot application, integration, database, and performance-related issues. • Support applications deployed on JBoss Application Server. • Work with Oracle databases and SQL for issue analysis and troubleshooting. • Troubleshoot REST APIs, SOAP/Web Services, JSON/XML, and HTTP/HTTPS integrations. • Perform API testing using Postman/SoapUI. • Analyse JVM performance, memory utilisation, thread issues and application-server logs. • Troubleshoot application-server connectivity with databases and external systems. • Analyse database connectivity, sessions, locks and performance-related issues. • Analyze logs, identify root causes, and provide timely resolutions. • Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and other technical teams for issue resolution. • Support deployments, releases, and production changes as required. • Willingness to provide 24×7/on-call support when required • Strong ownership of production incidents

• Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field. Government/large enterprise project experience will be an advantage. Relevant technical certifications in Java, Linux, Oracle and ITIL will be an added advantage.
