Building, maintaining and growing strong working relationships with physicians to review insurance needs, conduct needs analysis and review retirement goals, analyzing current coverage, identifying gaps, and presenting and explaining options and associated financial risks and impacts.
Recommending OMA Insurance solutions to address needs and ensure physicians and their families, medical students and residents have adequate and applicable insurance coverage.
Presenting OMA Insurance solutions at various events and venues to build the OMA and OMA Insurance brand while addressing needs and ensure physicians and their families, medical students and residents have adequate and applicable insurance coverage.
Participating in ad-hoc internal projects, and initiatives, providing subject matter expertise, feedback, insights, and suggestions gained from interactions with members and peers.
Actively participate in insurance initiatives and provide peer support in training initiatives while modeling the values of OMA and OMA Insurance.
Developing, building, and maintaining strong business relationships across the OMA, and with external business partners, local hospitals, clinics, to expand and grow OMA Insurance presence in the local community.
Maintaining current license requirements and knowledge on emerging trends, technologies, changes in applicable compliance and insurance regulations, share information, and promote OMA offerings.
University degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
six to nine years of experience advising high-net-worth clients on insurance, financial planning, wealth management, or related financial solutions.
Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships, articulate the value of products and services, and educate clients on their personal financial needs and goals.
Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) designation required.
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation considered an asset .
Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation considered an asset
Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS) designation considered an asset.
Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation considered an asset.
Strong knowledge of insurance products, retirement planning, annuities, investments, and regulatory/compliance requirements.
