Key skills for this role
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline from an accredited engineering program, and five (5) years related experience in engineering relevant to Electrical or Instrumentation, OR
Master’s degree in appropriate Engineering discipline from an accredited engineering program and three (3) years related experience in engineering relevant to Electrical or Instrumentation.
Ability to specify and select instrumentation.
Skilled in budget preparation, monitoring and administration.
Must be knowledgeable of multiple communication platforms and protocols including but not limited to Hart, Devicenet, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, Ethernet-I/P, profibus DP, profinet.
Must be knowledgeable of network, PLC or DCS hardware and software, and Human-Machine Interface (HMI).
Must be knowledgeable of installation, configuration, calibration and maintenance of process instruments (level, flow, density, weight, pressure, temperature, actuators, PH, metal detection, gas and others)
