Senior Infrastructure Engineer | Linux/Unix

The opportunity

Key responsibilities

• Lead administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of enterprise Unix/Linux environments.
• Drive automation using Shell scripting, Python, Ansible, Terraform, and configuration management practices.
• Partner with application, database, middleware, network, security, and architecture teams on complex technical challenges.
• Support technology refresh, migration, cloud adoption, disaster recovery, and high-availability initiatives.
• Mentor engineers and help shape infrastructure standards, roadmaps, and best practices.

Essential experience

• Significant Unix/Linux systems administration or engineering experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Advanced knowledge of Unix/Linux architecture, administration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and capacity management.
• Experience with patching, upgrades, lifecycle management, vulnerability remediation, and security hardening.
• Experience with high availability, clustering, backup, recovery, monitoring, logging, and production support.
