- Provide technical expertise and guidance to IT teams on technology platforms
- Develop robust technology solutions meeting customer requirements and architectural standards
- Monitor performance of technology platforms and tune for best performance
- Prioritize and resolve incidents, facilitate system recovery
- Provide input to service continuity planning and implement resulting plans
- Translate logical designs into physical ones, develop system designs and documentation
- Specify user system interfaces, validation, error correction, processing rules, access, security, and audit controls
- Conduct benchmark studies to identify and implement new technologies
- Manage lifecycle and replacement of systems and software
- Undertake routine installations and removal of hardware/software components
- Develop installation procedures, standards, and schedules
- Define integration build and software modules, produce software builds
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology
- ITIL Certified
- CCNP, CCIE, MCSE, or RHEL Certification
- Fluent in English
- Capable of conducting cost benefit analysis for IT investments

Job Purpose
- Ensures availability and scalability of technology platforms in collaboration with internal and external teams to meet current and future business needs in line with prescribed IT measures and ISAs adopted policies and procedures.
Key Result Responsibilities
- Provides technical expertise and guidance to IT Teams on technology platforms and delivers technology designs for IT projects.
- Develops robust technology solutions that meet customer requirements and in line with ISAs architectural standards and technical strategy.
- Continuously monitors performance of technology platforms and incidents versus adopted procedures to tune and deliver solutions.
- Prioritises incidents, investigates causes, resolves, and facilitates recovery of systems.
- Provides input to the service continuity planning process and implements resulting plans.
- Translates logical designs into physical ones, develops system designs, specifications, and documentation.
- Specifies user system interfaces including validation and error correction procedures, processing rules, access, security, and audit controls.
- Conducts benchmark studies to identify and implement new emerging technologies.
- Manages lifecycle and replacement of systems and software to minimize risk from obsolete technology.
- Undertakes routine installations and removal of hardware/software components and updates configuration records.
- Develops installation procedures, standards, and schedules for installations.
- Defines integration build and software modules, produces software builds for loading onto target environment.
Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)
- Bachelor Degree in IT Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology.
- ITIL Certified.
- CCNP, CCIE, MCSE, RHEL Certification.
- Fluent in English Language.

- Capable of conducting cost benefit analysis for IT investments.
- Cost oriented, possesses effective problem solving and decision making skills.
