This is an opportunity to combine your technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and client relationship skills while working across a diverse portfolio that includes data centres, healthcare, defence, education, commercial high-rise developments, mixed-use precincts, and major refurbishments.

As a senior member of our Buildings team, you'll lead project delivery from concept through to construction, work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams, and help develop the next generation of engineering talent.

Day to day tasks would involve: • Design and delivery of hydraulic building services systems including water supply, sewerage, stormwater, recycled water, and gas services. • Manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity while maintaining exceptional technical and commercial outcomes. • Build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle. • Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, specifications, design documentation, and tender submissions. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Electrical, Mechanical, Fire, Sustainability, and other Building Services disciplines. • Conduct site inspections, provide construction-phase support, assess defects, and respond to contractor RFIs. • Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian Standards, National Construction Code requirements, and client specifications. • Mentor and develop junior engineers while contributing to a positive, high-performing team culture.

To be successful for this role you'll need: • A degree qualification in Engineering or a related discipline. • Proven experience in hydraulic building services consulting within the engineering or construction industry. • Strong technical capability across hydraulic systems design and construction methodologies. • Demonstrated experience leading projects and coordinating multidisciplinary design teams. • Excellent stakeholder management and client relationship skills. • Strong commercial awareness and sound decision-making ability. • The ability to manage competing priorities while delivering high-quality outcomes. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • A passion for mentoring others and contributing to the ongoing success of a collaborative team.
