About the Role

Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility to ensure HVAC and lighting systems are maintained and upgraded as required for Ras Laffan
- Responsible for initiating and following up on necessary improvement HVAC and Lighting Projects
- Ensure Preventive Maintenance of all HVAC / Lighting equipment is performed and report issues to the superintendent
- Carry out all assessments of job plan including JSA, review drawings, understand recommendations, review spares
- Implement routine and unplanned maintenance activities in compliance with Life Critical Procedures and plant policies
- Ensure equipment maintenance / overhauling is in accordance with standard maintenance procedures and OEM manual
- Ensure spares parts used are maintained and available
- Coordinate with ERG, production, safety, technical departments from reliability, QA /QC point of view
- Act as Designated Site Representative (DSR) for applicable contractors
- Take initiative to identify and implement areas for improvement in HVAC & Lighting
- Support emergency planned SD's and TA related maintenance activities
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and recommend solutions to resolve root cause of failures/incidents
Requirements
- Diploma of relevant field or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant Technical degree
- 3 5 years of experience in HVAC
- Experience in Petrochemicals Industry
- English proficient
- Arabic working knowledge (preferred)

Key Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility to ensure Heat Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and lighting systems are maintained and upgraded as required for Ras Laffan.
- Responsible for initiating and following up on the necessary improvement HVAC and Lighting Projects.
- Ensure Preventive Maintenance of all HVAC / Lighting equipment is performed and report issues to the superintendent.
- Carry out all assessments of job plan including JSA, review and acknowledge drawings, understand recommendations, review spares.
- Implement routine and unplanned maintenance activities in compliance with Life Critical Procedures, Tenets of Operations, plant policies and procedures, Standard Maintenance Procedures (SMPs) and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
- Ensure that equipment maintenance / overhauling of specific equipment is in accordance with all relevant standard maintenance procedures, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) manual.
- Ensure that the spares parts used are maintained and available.
- Coordinate with ERG, production, safety, technical departments from reliability, QA /QC point of view related to mechanical.
- Act as the Designated Site Representative (DSR) for applicable contractors to ensure the safety of the contractor on site.
- Takes initiative to identify and implement areas for improvement in HVAC & Lighting.
- Support emergency planned SD's and TA related maintenance activities.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and recommend solutions and efforts to identify and resolve the root cause of failures /incidents.
Qualifications
- Diploma of relevant field.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant Technical degree.
- 3 5 years of experience in HVAC.
- Experience in Petrochemicals Industry.
- Required: English proficient.
- Preferred: Arabic working knowledge.
