What will you be doing?
Act as the focal point for designated project HSSE matters, providing expert support and guidance to Project Management teams.
Lead and promote a positive HSSE culture, championing the Subsea7 Critical Safety Behaviors/Life Saving Rules/Work Safe Home Safe Program and driving continuous improvement across project activities.
Develop, coordinate, and implement project-specific HSSE and Emergency Response plans, bridging documents, procedures, risk assessments, and assurance activities to ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements.
Supervise and mentor HSSE Advisors, worksite HSSE personnel, and contractor HSSE representatives, supporting capability development and consistent project execution.
Monitor HSSE performance, coordinate incident investigations, emergency response activities, audits, inspections, and monthly reporting of HSSE statistics and man-hours.
What experience would we like you to have?
Professional qualification in Health, Safety, Security and Environmental Management, or an equivalent combination of qualifications and operational experience.
Significant HSSE experience within offshore construction, subsea operations, marine operations, oil and gas, or a related high-hazard industry.
Qualified and experienced auditor with incident investigation training and experience leading investigations and corrective action programs.
Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OSHA requirements, SEMS, risk management processes, and HSSE management systems.
Ability to obtain or hold BOSIET and OEUK Offshore Medical certification, with a willingness to travel and work at onshore and offshore project locations as required
