Role & Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end system-level hardware architecture including design, manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing of high-reliability electronics for airborne and space applications.
• Gather system requirements, perform component selection, and create Bills of Materials (BoMs) with consideration for cost, availability, and lead times.
• Design power architectures including DC-DC converters, LDOs, protection circuits, power sequencing, and detailed power budgeting.
• Develop, review, and maintain schematics and PCB layouts for embedded hardware systems.
• Implement and interface RFSoC/MPSoC, FPGAs, MCUs, and SoCs with external peripherals; integrate and validate interfaces such as SPI, UART, I²C, GPIO, and PCIe.
• Coordinate with external partners and vendors for fabrication, assembly, and testing in compliance with aerospace standards (AS9100).
• Collaborate closely with firmware teams to support hardware bring-up, debugging, and system validation.
• Perform comprehensive hardware testing and ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
