Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering; Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering preferred.

Minimum 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering practice with an emphasis on geotechnical design and analysis, geotechnical field investigation, and construction supervision.

Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of California.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills for team-based work.

Extensive geotechnical background with fundamentals in soil and rock mechanics, earthquake engineering, pavement engineering, and groundwater hydrogeology.

Experience with geotechnical software for slope stability (Slide, Slope/W), pile modeling (L-pile, Shaft, All Pile), and site response (Shake, DeepSoil).

Familiarity with standards and deliverables (DSA/CGS, Caltrans) preferred.

Experience in construction oversight for foundations and earthwork observation.

Compensation: $135,000 - $145,000 annual salary The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
