Geotechnical Engineer 2

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering; Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering preferred.

Minimum 4 years of experience in geotechnical engineering practice with an emphasis on geotechnical design and analysis, geotechnical field investigation, and construction supervision.

Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of California.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills for team-based working.

Extensive geotechnical background with fundamental knowledge of geotechnical engineering, soil and rock mechanics, earthquake engineering, pavement engineering, and groundwater hydrogeology.

Experience with software including slope stability, pile modeling, and site response tools.

Familiarity with DSA/CGS and Caltrans standards, guidelines, and deliverables.

Experience in construction oversight for foundation construction and earthwork observation.

Compensation: $114,400 - $128,960 annually The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
