Role overview
Lead functional analysis for the Enspire suite of applications supporting AESO’s Restructured Energy Market program.
Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, vendors, and technical resources on mission-critical electricity market systems.
Support implementation, enhancement, and ongoing product lifecycle activities across market settlement and related applications.
Work arrangement
- The role follows a hybrid work environment with the team in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
- Mondays and Fridays are flexible for where employees work best.
Core responsibilities
- Lead workshops to gather and validate requirements and define Energy Settlement System functionality scope.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements and coordinate among business, technical, and vendor teams.
- Facilitate Scrum Master activities and manage epics, user stories, tasks, and product backlogs.
- Document current-state and future-state processes with end-to-end process diagrams.
- Identify risks, gaps, enhancement opportunities, and process efficiency improvements.
- Support solution design, testing, issue triage, root cause analysis, validation, cutover planning, and operational readiness.
