Optix is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to evolve its platform for coworking and flex space operators.

Workplace
- This is a hybrid opportunity for someone based in Vancouver, British Columbia.
- The schedule is 60% in the Gastown waterfront office and 40% from home.
Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end backend and frontend features in Jira-based Agile sprints.
- Use AI tools such as Claude Code and Cursor to generate code, while reviewing and guiding the output.
- Improve the established Laravel and Vue codebase and contribute to legacy framework modernization.
- Design APIs for iOS and Android applications with attention to backward compatibility.
- Build agentic AI features and integrate them into intuitive customer-facing interfaces.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, and Design on technical direction, planning, estimation, evaluation, and monitoring.
- Improve test coverage, review code, support QA and releases, and validate acceptance environments.
