Opportunity Overview
The Senior Full Stack Engineer will develop and maintain RBC's digital wealth management platform.
The role includes enterprise API and database development, user interface development, cloud-native technologies, and cross-functional engineering work.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using C# and .NET.
- Architect and optimize MS SQL database solutions for performance and scalability.
- Build interactive browser-based interfaces and rich visualizations using ASP.NET MVC and Angular.
- Implement containerization and deployment strategies for cloud environments.
- Ensure API security, documentation, and enterprise standards compliance.
- Research technologies to improve development efficiency.
- Participate in agile sprints and technical design reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- At least 3 years of professional experience building large-scale C# applications or APIs.
- Proficiency in C#, TypeScript, SQL, RESTful APIs, ASP.NET MVC, Angular, and MS SQL query optimization.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and industry best practices.
- Proven experience implementing browser-based user interfaces.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with OAuth for API security.
- Experience with Apache Spark or distributed data processing frameworks.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
